Position Overview
The Fundraising Specialist & Trainer will play a critical role in developing and executing our fundraising strategy. This individual will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all of Blessing Bird Foundation’s fundraising efforts, including major gifts, annual funds, special events, and corporate and foundation support. Additionally, the specialist will train and mentor staff and volunteers in fundraising best practices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Position Overview

Additionally, the specialist will train and mentor staff and volunteers in fundraising best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans to meet the organization’s financial goals.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Create and manage donor recognition programs to ensure ongoing engagement and appreciation.
- Donor Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors.
- Conduct research to identify new donor opportunities and funding sources.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals, reports, and presentations to donors and stakeholders.
- Event Planning and Management:
- Plan and execute fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and community outreach events.
- Coordinate logistics, sponsorships, marketing, and volunteer engagement for events.
- Training and Mentorship:
- Train staff and volunteers on effective fundraising techniques and donor engagement strategies.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops and seminars to enhance fundraising capabilities within the organization.
- Grant Writing and Management:
- Research and identify grant opportunities that align with Blessing Bird Foundation’s mission.
- Prepare and submit grant applications, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
- Manage grant reporting and maintain accurate records of all grant-related activities.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and fundraising records in the organization’s database.
- Analyze fundraising data and provide regular reports to the executive team on progress and opportunities for improvement.
- Education and Experience:
- Bsw ,Msw , Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit management.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and meeting financial targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with event planning and management.
- Knowledge of grant writing and management processes.
