We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Associate to join our US Finance & Accounting team. The ideal candidate will support financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other financial regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a deep understanding of US accounting practices.

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Associate to join our US Finance & Accounting team. The ideal candidate will support financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other financial regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a deep understanding of US accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Perform general accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare reports for management on key financial metrics and performance analysis.
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal and state tax returns, along with other statutory filings.
- Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and ensure their implementation within the company’s financial processes.
- Assist in cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Support ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, preferably from Tier 1 college.
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably with a focus on US GAAP. Freshers can also apply.
- Certification in US accounting (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US accounting regulations and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience working in a finance role for a US-based company or supporting US clients.
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Experience in handling financial audits and preparing audit documentation.
- Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
