We are seeking a talented **Fashion Designer** to join our creative team and play a key role in developing trend-driven collections aligned with market demands and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Development:
- Create original and innovative designs based on seasonal trends and client requirements.
- Develop mood boards, color palettes, and design themes for each collection.
- Prepare technical sketches and detailed spec sheets for production.
2. Market Research & Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Research global fashion markets to ensure designs align with industry standards.
3. Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the production, merchandising, and sampling teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
- Liaise with buyers and clients to customize designs as per their preferences.
- Coordinate with fabric suppliers and vendors to source materials.
4. Sampling & Production Oversight:
- Oversee the creation of samples and prototypes to ensure alignment with design vision.
- Monitor the production process to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of design concepts, samples, and final products.
- Prepare presentations for client meetings and internal design reviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in garment design (preferably in export manufacturing).
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction techniques.
- Excellent understanding of colour theory, pattern making, and trend forecasting.
- Creative flair with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
