This role is responsible for supporting process improvement initiatives by identifying trends and issues from data analysis and assisting in maintaining process quality and documentation. The role collaborates with engineers and experts to address performance anomalies and process failures, and conducts research on alternative solutions. The role facilitates project communications and stakeholder engagement to build relationships with internal project teams. The role also ensures compliance with audit and legislative requirements and generates documents as per project plans.
Responsibilities
Supports portions of initiatives involving one or more functions and project teams to drive process improvement for products or service offerings.
Collects, consolidates, and charts data from testing and process results for assigned portions of product and solution areas to identify trends and issues.
Assists in ensuring process quality through capturing good metrics, analyzing those metrics, supporting process creation and ensuring proper document and change control process.
Analyzes the work orders and cases to identify failures in process performance and process adherence to help identify the root causes of failures in process performance.
Works with factory engineers to identify performance anomalies through trend analysis, and collaborates with internal and external experts to generate solutions under the guidance of experienced team members.
Conducts research on alternative solutions to process problems, and determine proper approaches under the guidance of experienced team members.
Generates documentation in accordance with provided plan and detailed specifications, including budgets, resource allocation plans, and other support requirements.
Ensures audit, compliance and legislative requirements are adhered to and appropriate systems and controls are implemented as needed.
Supports project communications, including creation of status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, coordinating stakeholder meetings and updates, and updating documentation.
Develops understanding of and relationships with internal quality process improvement project teams.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year Degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in project management, quality, lean six sigma, or a related field.
