The Role
As an Electrical Designer Level I with Worley,
you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc….
Execution of Electrical design, drafting and 3D modelling tasks relating to oil & gas offshore platforms and onshore projects.
Able to work independently on Electrical substation layouts, electrical room layouts, cable tray layouts, lighting layouts for Oil & Gas offshore.
Able to perform cable tray fill calculations independently.
Must have working experience with IEC, NEC, IEEE Electrical standards as minimum.
Able to work independently with minimal guidance from lead designer or lead engineer.
Check compliance with QA / safety/ environment goals.
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Liaison with other disciplines on technical issues related to 3D modelling and layouts
About You
- 7+ years of experience in the design and drafting of onshore oil and gas facilities.
- Experience in 3D Modelling of all Electrical Equipment, Cable tray and supports, Lighting fixtures, extraction of drawings from 3D Model and preparing Electrical deliverables.
- Familiarization in S3D/E3D, Auto CAD, Micro Station is required.
- A Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Design / Drafting; with a preference for an Electrical Engineering Degree.
- A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
