Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and timely transportation of goods and/or passengers while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled for use.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with passengers or clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver (commercial driving experience preferred).
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks.
