Dispatch and Delivery Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
Efficient Material Dispatch: Manage the timely dispatch of materials to customers based on sales orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to delivery schedules.
Organized Delivery Coordination: Arrange for the delivery of materials to customer locations as per sales department instructions, coordinating with logistics providers or delivery personnel.
Customer-Centric Delivery: Personally oversee product delivery to customer sites, ensuring clear communication and facilitating smooth payment processes.
Vehicle Management: Ensure the availability of appropriate four-wheeled vehicles with valid licenses to guarantee on-time product delivery.
Accurate Data Entry: Maintain meticulous records of material inward and outward movements using the company's software system.
Thorough Material Preparation: Prepare materials for delivery, including packaging, labeling, and quality checks, to ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in using logistics software and GPS systems
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
Attention to detail and accuracy
Customer-oriented mindset
Additional Considerations:
Experience in dispatch or logistics roles is preferred.
A familiarity with the local area and traffic patterns is advantageous.
