The minimum educational qualification required for the position is graduation. Also, the person must mandatorily have a Degree in Dance
Preference will be given to candidates having graduate/post graduate degree in social work, journalism and mass communication, management or humanities.
The candidate must be proficient in technology and should have strong communication, coordinating and interpersonal skills.
Desirable: Minimum three years of proven work experience in teaching dance to students of all ages and skill levels, with a strong emphasis on performance, coordinating events, media relations and other relevant activities. Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement dance curriculum for students.
Provide individual and group dance lessons.
Prepare students for concerts, recitals, and other performances, providing guidance on rehearsal techniques, stage presence etc
Assess and evaluate student performance.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dance education practices, dance trends and techniques.
Provide support and guidance to students for their dance assignments and projects.
Implement strategies to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
Foster a collaborative and productive classroom environment.
Organize and participate in school programmes and dance events.
Support planning, coordination, organising, and promotion of the programs, events and meetings conducted in the school.
Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems.
Pre and post reporting about every plan in action to the reporting authority, Head of the Institution, and work as per the advice and instructions given.
Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings to the management.
To coordinate the daily morning assembly and star assembly in the school. To announce the upcoming events and important information in the assembly after consulting with the Principal.
Coordination of student training programs in the school.
