Role: Counsellor (Pankh)
Compensation: 24,000 (P.M.) (Negotiable)
Qualification: Master degree in Psychology relevant field from an esteemed University
Experience: A minimum of 2- 3 years of relevant experience
Job Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Key Deliverables:
 Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to enhance youth's life skills and
emotional well-being.
 Develop personalized action plans to support youth in achieving their personal, educational,
and career goals.
 Facilitate engaging workshops on life skills topics and help them to get ready for placements.
 Collaborate with community resources for referral and additional support services as
needed.
 Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and participant progress.
 Assess participant needs and evaluate the effectiveness of counselling interventions.
 Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for youth from diverse backgrounds.
 Stay updated on best practices in counselling and youth development.
 Coordinate with program staff to ensure a holistic approach to youth development.
 Advocate for the well-being and empowerment of youth within the community
 Perform any other task as required or instructed by reporting Authority or Programme
Manager.
Key Skills Required:
Here is a list of few skills which will be helpful in the daily functioning as a Counsellor (Pankh):
 Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially in excel, word, Power Point and
Google Drive etc.
 Multi-project management skills, adhering to timelines and performing under pressure
to achieve the targets.
 Fluent in Hindi and Odia.
 good knowledge of counselling and mobilization.
