Role Overview: As a Co-Founder & Partner in Fundraising and Investment Banking, you will play a key leadership role in developing and executing the company’s growth and financial strategies. You will work directly with startups, corporations, and private investors to raise capital, advise on mergers and acquisitions, and provide strategic financial guidance. This position combines high-level fundraising expertise with a deep understanding of the financial markets and investment banking processes. Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy & Execution:
Lead capital-raising efforts, including equity and debt financing rounds.
Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms, private equity investors, family offices, and institutional investors.
Identify and approach potential investors, conduct roadshows, and pitch to prospective backers.
Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans aligned with company growth objectives.
Investment Banking Advisory:
Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other financial transactions.
Conduct financial analysis, valuations, and market research to support strategic decision-making.
Structure and negotiate terms of deals, ensuring they align with company objectives and market conditions.
Manage due diligence processes and facilitate legal, financial, and compliance activities.
Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate with other founders and partners to shape the company’s long-term vision, goals, and strategy.
Identify new market opportunities and trends in the investment banking and fundraising ecosystem.
Lead cross-functional teams in executing growth initiatives, including new business development and partnerships.
Mentor and manage junior staff or team members involved in finance and fundraising activities.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and key stakeholders.
Act as a thought leader and representative for the firm in industry events, conferences, and public forums.
Provide regular updates to the executive team and key stakeholders on fundraising progress and financial performance.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
10+ years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or a similar financial services industry.
Proven track record in raising capital, deal structuring, and advising on M&A transactions.
Extensive network within the finance and investment community.
Skills:
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing abilities.
Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, legal aspects, and market trends.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
