O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) is a multi-disciplinary and research oriented university founded in 2009. JGU is a non-profit global and research focused university. JGU maintains a 1:9 faculty-student ratio and appoints faculty members from India and different parts of the world with outstanding academic qualifications and experience. We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team and with the flexibility to relocate to Sonipat location. The interested candidate should have expertise in a variety of cuisines including the South Indian dishes. This role involves preparing delicious meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, with a specialty in South Indian cuisine.
Develop new recipes and menus that reflect diverse culinary traditions.
Ensure food presentation and quality meets university standards
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff and participate in training and development.
Adapt menus based on seasonal ingredients and dietary requirements.
Assist in catering for special events and university functions as needed.
