Cancer Nursing staff

We are seeking compassionate and skilled nursing staff to join our chemotherapy unit in Noida. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing Cancer treatment. You will work closely with oncologists, medical staff, and patients to ensure safe and effective delivery of chemotherapy regimens. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
  • Chemotherapy Administration:
  • Prepare chemotherapy medications according to prescribed protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Administer chemotherapy drugs intravenously or orally, ensuring accurate dosing and proper infusion techniques.
  • Monitor patients during chemotherapy sessions for adverse reactions and provide immediate intervention as needed.
  • Patient Assessment and Education:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and psychological status before, during, and after chemotherapy treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families about chemotherapy regimens, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
  • Symptom Management:
  • Assess and manage chemotherapy-related side effects such as nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and peripheral neuropathy.
  • Administer supportive medications, fluids, and interventions to alleviate symptoms and improve patient comfort.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized symptom management plans for patients.
  • Documentation and Recordkeeping:
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, including chemotherapy orders, medication administration records, and nursing assessments.
  • Document patient responses to chemotherapy treatment, side effects, and any adverse events.
  • Safety and Infection Control:
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols for handling and disposing of chemotherapy drugs, following established guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
