Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Store Incharge from Iron / Steel Industry to support the efficient operation of our store in Ramgarh, Jharkhand. The Assistant Store Incharge will work closely with the Store Incharge to oversee daily activities, manage inventory, and ensure a smooth workflow. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate with various departments. Responsibilities: - Assist the Store Incharge in overseeing daily store operations and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient environment. - Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems (e.g., ERP software). - Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and ensure proper storage. - Assist in preparing and placing purchase orders to replenish stock as needed. - Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies or shortages. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management and storage. - Supervise and train store staff in proper store procedures and customer service. - Assist customers with inquiries, provide product information, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics) to coordinate store activities and meet organizational goals. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area, including displays and shelves. Requirements: - Proven experience as an Assistant Store Incharge or similar role in a retail or industrial setting. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel). - Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. - Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and supervise a team. - Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines for handling goods. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in retail management is a plus.
