X-Gen College of Visual Art is seeking a full-time on-site animation faculty member at the Berhampur location. The Animation Faculty member will be responsible for teaching students how to create 3D works using the latest software and technologies, as well as guiding students through all the stages of 3D animation, including modelling, texturing, lighting, and rigging composition. The ideal candidate is passionate about imparting knowledge and is adept at using innovative teaching methodologies.
Job Title: - 3D Animation Faculty
Responsibilities: -
· Demonstrating animation techniques and providing hands-on guidance to students.
· Staying updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.
· Collaborating with other faculty members and industry professionals to enhance the learning experience.
· Conducting lectures, workshops, and practical sessions to teach students the principles of 3D animation, software tools, and techniques.
· Mentoring students and guiding them in developing their portfolios or demo reels.
· Providing constructive feedback on students' work, guiding them to improve their skills, and encouraging creativity and innovation.
· Serving as a mentor and advisor to students, assisting them in portfolio development, career guidance, and industry networking.
· Engaging in research activities to contribute to the field of 3D animation, publishing papers, and staying involved in academic and industry conferences.
Qualifications: -
· A minimum of a 3D-Diploma / Bachelor's degree.
· At least 1- 3 years of experience in video 3D Animation, preferably in a similar role.
· Must have knowledge of 3D character Animation advance level, acting with lyp sync.
· Advance human body mechanics and character rigging.
· Strong knowledge of industry-standard Software tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Nuke, Aftereffects etc.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to inspire students and encourage them to push their creative limits.
· Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment, as well as mentor and guide students throughout the course.
· Complete knowledge of 3D Modelling, Texturing, Rigging & Character Animation required - Knowledge of Dynamics & Particles.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle several challenging tasks simultaneously.
SOFTWARE SKILLS: - Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, Nuke, After Effects & Premiere Pro. - Knowledge of Unreal Platform will be an advantage.
Location – Berhampur (Onsite)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
