Interview students and assess their academic achievements, leadership capabilities, and suitability for admission.
Provide prospective students with information related to enrollment procedure and requirements.
Research and evaluate student eligibility qualifications.
Attend school fairs and guidance counseling events to reach out to potential admission candidates.
Develop relationships with students, parents, and high school counselors to ensure that prospective students receive the information they require in order to make an informed decision.
Provide guidance and advice to students regarding the admissions and enrollment procedures.
Define, develop, and implement admission process policies, procedures, and standards.
Organize and execute meetings and presentations related to Admission Counsellor.
Review and assess student eligibility criteria for admission purposes.
Analyze and report admission data to the higher authorities.
Monitor and maintain records related to admission.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, student counseling, or related field.
Knowledge of the admissions process and institutional eligibility criteria.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and data analysis aptitude.
Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work.
Knowledge of computer software, including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
