Admissions Officer

An admission officer is a professional responsible for overseeing and managing the admissions process at educational institutions, such as schools, colleges, and universities. Their main duties typically include:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Processing: Reviewing and processing student applications, ensuring all required documents are submitted and complete.
  • Student Recruitment: Developing strategies to attract and recruit prospective students, including organizing open houses, campus tours, and informational sessions.
  • Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, answering queries related to admission criteria, fees, programs, and other concerns.
  • Admissions Criteria: Collaborating with faculty and departments to set admission standards and criteria.
  • Data Management: Maintaining databases with applicant information, tracking applications, and generating reports on admissions trends and statistics.
  • Event Coordination: Planning and managing admissions events such as orientations, webinars, and school fairs.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments like marketing, finance, and academics to streamline the admissions process.
  • Evaluation: Assessing student applications to determine eligibility for admission, often including reviewing academic transcripts, test scores, and recommendation letters.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that the admissions process adheres to institutional policies and legal regulations.
  • Reporting: Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on admission statistics, challenges, and trends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

  • Sohana, Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
