The Finance Business Analyst supports the CBS Division or assigned Regions with information, analysis, financial forecasting, revenue and expense budgeting The position coordinates workflow among the entities relating to the division or region. Duties include researching trends about the position of the division, cluster, region or other defined business dimensions. This position directly contributes to strategic decisions, providing a forward-looking and commercial view.
Your main responsibilities:
Prepares analysis of business drivers, financial performance improvement action recommendations, sales analytics, and other performance-based analytics.
Support the preparation of Budgets, Forecast and Strategic planning and helps securing that planning is supported by initiatives and corrective actions.
Assists in developing business cases to support strategic initiatives, integrating business plans into planning and following up on Business Cases.
Monitors full cost allocation and optimizes contribution to Group Profitability on relevant dimensions (segments, customers, products, projects etc.)
Support in ad-hoc analysis requested from the FBP
Challenges proposals and decisions in a constructive, objective and professional way. Provides alternative options and keeps the long-term interests of all stakeholders in mind.
Your background We imagine that you have:
BSC degree in accounting or finance
Preferably MSC degree
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance role using SAP and preferably TM1
Fluency in English
Experience building planning models, including strategy, budgets, and forecast cycles/programs.
End-to-end value chain perspective, enabling collection of data from multiple source systems and translation into an aggregate dashboard.
Ability to clearly and concisely summarize data and present conclusions to senior management.
Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Extensive use of complex spreadsheets and datasets to consolidate and analyse data.
