Your responsibilities

• Continuously improve our production equipment (performance, quality, availability).
• Support of existing and new machines for troubleshooting in high automated control systems (Siemens, Beckhoff) and associated perephery.
• Machine optimization (electr. hardware, PLC software).
• Optimize automation documentation and improve knowledge database.
• Support and implementation of automation projects, in coordination with the supervisor and suppliers.
• Ensure expertise transfer to local software technicians.
• Backup and archiving of modified control programs.
• Ensure that techical specifications are implemented and kept (TV).
• Troubleshooting, programming and monitoring of complex control systems / equipment for manufacturing and assembly processes (e.g. Beckhoff, Twin Cat, Siemens, Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Cognex, Keyence).
• 1st level support including on-call service on request.
• Cross linked work with other departments.
• Retro Fit of existing tools, systems and machines.

Your profile

• Several years experience in PLC software engineering (IEC 1131)
• Several years experience in automation technology in production areas (f. e. maintanence and / or other support areas)
• Knowledge of Beckhoff Twin Cat or Siemens TIA programming language is a benefit
• German or English is an advantage
