Job Posting Details
The Division of Integrative Systems and Design is seeking a Technical Officer (Systems Administrator) to manage our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities involve setting up and maintaining our servers, web services, and internal tools.
Responsibilities:
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.

Responsibilities:
- Setting up and managing Linux and Windows servers, including virtualization and cloud services;
- installing and configuring web services such as Apache & Nginx;
- deploying and maintaining internal tools such as wikis, collaboration platforms, and version control systems;
- maintaining the division’s website (Drupal) and integrating new functions as needed;
- ensuring system security, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place and up-to-date;
- troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing system performance and configuration; and
- developing and maintaining technical documentation of system architecture and infrastructure.
