Executive Level IT Team on behalf of its client, a leader in HR industry, is looking for a Junior Information Security Analyst to grow their team.

Junior Information Security Analyst

Role overview

As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will assist in maintaining and improving our information security and compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills in English. This role provides a fantastic opportunity for growth and learning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing and maintaining the information security management system (ISMS) based on ISO 27001 standards.

Support in ensuring compliance with SOC 2 Type 2 requirements, including monitoring controls and documenting evidence.

Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.

Help prepare and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 frameworks.

Work closely with senior security staff to analyze and improve security processes.

Participate in responding to and addressing information security incidents as needed.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external auditors in English, both spoken and written.

Stay updated on changes to information security standards and best practices.

Requirements

Basic understanding of ISO 27001 standards and SOC 2 Type 2 frameworks.

Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

A desire to grow in the field of information security and learn about industry standards.

A degree in information security, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.

Familiarity with information security risk management is a plus
