We are currently seeking Junior Advisors for our Access to EU funding and Incentives team, which seats under our Strategy and Transactions practice. The Greek EY Strategy & Transactions Advisory Services (Sa T) practice is the leader in Greece and South-East Europe in professional financial advisory services market. Within Sa T, our EU Funding & Incentives team sits at the heart of our Lead Advisory practice and deliver high quality advice to our global network of clients.

The opportunity
We are currently seeking Junior Advisors for our Access to EU funding and Incentives team, which seats under our Strategy and Transactions practice. Within Sa T, our EU Funding & Incentives team sits at the heart of our Lead Advisory practice and deliver high quality advice to our global network of clients.
Your key responsibilities
- Assisting in drafting and preparing application folders for public and private entities, aiming to access direct EU funding
- Preparation including research and analysis of relevant EU policies and regulations
- Scanning of suitable funding opportunities and incentives to address clients’ needs
- Ad hoc training activities and workshops with relevance to the above
- Performing analysis of technologies to evaluate capability and fit against mission requirements
- Demonstrating strong team participation skills, particularly in teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
- Demonstrating a high level of professionalism and consistency in client work, business development and practice development
- Demonstrating strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas

To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A bachelor’s degree on International & European Studies, Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting & Finance, or any other field with a strong EU Policies & Procedures knowledge
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in consultancy or project work within national and/or public institutions
- Experience in assisting on the development of application folders for direct EU funding on schemes such as Horizon 2020, LIFE, Erasmus
- Excellent written and verbal skills both in Greek and English
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office packages
- Analytical and conceptual thinker with innovative reflexes
- Strong focus and drive to achieve project / program goals and objectives, with a first-time right mentality

Within client assignments, you are able to:
- Analise complex problems and deliver insightful & practical solutions.
- Think in a structured manner and can communicate adequately to clients
- Able to work both independent and in team
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally, if required
Ideally, you should also have:
- A Master’s degree on EU Policies, Commercial Engineering, Marketing Management, or any other related field with a strong EU Policies & Procedures knowledge
- Skills in other than English and French, EU languages
- Working experience in national administration or EU services or industry, related to EU funding
- Knowledge and experience on EU tendering procedures
