As a Chef, you will be responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing preparation and maintenance of quality standards, sanitations and cleanliness. You manage budget and cost control personnel training and coaching. Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure optimum resource management and service provided. Responsibilities
Develop and create menus that reflect Grecotel's standards and guest preferences
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
Manage inventory and control food costs
Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene practices are followed in the kitchen
Collaborate with the culinary team to continuously improve menu offerings
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques and ingredients
Ensure timely and accurate execution of food orders
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef in a hotel
Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines
Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
