Job description:
To cook dishes according to menu that will delight our guests with their timely delivery, presentation, and taste. To be able to use various cooking techniques and ingredients. To keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.

Applicant's main accountabilities:
Prepare all types of sushi (maki, nigiri, uramaki, temaki and sashimi).

Prepare soups salads and appetizers that are close to the Asian cuisine.

Ensure excellent food plating and presentation.

Prepare ingredients to be used in cooking (peeling and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.).

Use of industrial woks and other cooking implements (steamers, fryers, grillers, utensils)

Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.

Maintain hygiene principles and safety conditions in all cooking areas.

Applicant’s main qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a 5-star property or at an Asian restaurant

Good knowledge of various sushi-rolling techniques and sushi types

Experience in cooking methods (boiling, baking, grilling, stir fry, roasting, steaming, etc.) and in using cutting tools and cookware

Good command of English or Greek language

A certification from a culinary school will be an advantage.
