Accounting Assistant

Description
A prestigious five-star hotel is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their finance team for a full 12-month period of employment.
The Role
The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense vouchers, and receipts
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Performing regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Supporting the finance department with audits, tax filings, and other financial duties
- Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Contributing to the enhancement of financial processes and systems
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional command of English, demonstrated in both oral and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Reference letters from previous employers are required
