About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Team Lead within our global Qt technical Support team. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of support engineers (4-6 persons) who provide technical assistance and guidance to our clients using Qt, a leading cross-platform application framework. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of our customers by delivering timely and effective support solutions. This entry-level management position is perfect for a technically skilled individual looking to grow into a managerial career path.

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of support engineers (4-6 persons) who provide technical assistance and guidance to our clients using Qt, a leading cross-platform application framework. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of our customers by delivering timely and effective support solutions. This entry-level management position is perfect for a technically skilled individual looking to grow into a managerial career path.
Position is based in Oulu, Finland.
You will:
- Lead and mentor a team of support engineers, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.
- Provide optimal Qt coding solutions for customers.
- Work closely with customers and help them to achieve their goals.
- Work on several Qt supported platforms.
- Develop and provide solutions for bugs found by customers.
- Provide technical support via email and, in some cases, virtual meetings.
- Work with various other departments to help bring visibility to the customers needs.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Good software development skills with C++ and Java Script
- Highly organized and solutions-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a curiosity for technical problems and motivation to help customers
- Experience with Git Hub, Git Lab, or other version control systems
- Additional technical qualifications will be an advantage
