Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sourcing Manager to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization in ABB Oy, Drive Products Division in Helsinki, where we are committed to driving growth and profitability for our businesses. In this role, you will oversee sourcing activities for indirect categories, with a primary focus on temporary workforces, HR services and facility-related services (e.g. cleaning and canteen/cafeteria). As a Sourcing Manager, you will play a critical role in managing our supplier portfolio and driving strategic sourcing initiatives. Your responsibilities will include supplier contract management, negotiations, market analysis, and continuous development of strategic suppliers. This position is in the first phase limited 12-month maternity leave position and is suitable for someone who already has experience of working with suppliers and wants to expand their skills to the sourcing area. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supplier portfolio management in your categories • Supplier price negotiations, supplier audits and agreements, supplier relationship management • Managing and developing the supply base based on business needs. Analyzing sup-pliers, cost structures and procurement markets • Continuous development of key suppliers and your category strategies • Driving Sustainability Net Zero target within indirect sourcingQualifications for the role
- B. Sc or M.Sc degree in Economics, Legal or Engineering
- Good understanding of supply chain management and supplier portfolio management
- Good negotiation, communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Good networking capabilities with collaborative mindset
- Dynamic, broad minded and result oriented personality, with can-do attitude.
- Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English and Finnish.
