Introduction
We are now looking for a Senior Manager, Global Logistics Category Sourcing to join our Global Logistics Services team in the Services BA! In this role, you are responsible for logistics procurement solutions for two categories, Project Logistics LSP Management and Special Transportation, for all Business Areas. Project Logistics refers to the managing pool and performance of Projects Logistics Solutions Providers that can be used by business as per project specific business requirements. Special transportation refers to logistics solutions outside of Standard Logistics that can include Oversize, Complex and Ro Ro cargo. You will lead the categories and provide global guidance and support for tactical sourcing within the organization. In this role, you will report to VP, Global Logistics Services.
The preferred location for this position is Espoo or Tampere in Finland, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Please note that this role requires traveling up to 30% of the work schedule.

The Global Logistics Services Management (GLSM) is responsible for logistics category sourcing and logistics partner management on the Metso level, packaging & transportation quality assurance. What you'll do
You are responsible for the procurement and Logistics Service Provider Management as per the global guidelines for Project Logistics and Special transportation categories. Tasks include e.g. sourcing, contracting, commercial negotiations and global performance management of LSPs.
You are supporting continuous improvement initiatives and will find solutions with internal and external stakeholders
You will maintain and improve service provider relationships and ensure high performance and quality of operations
You will continuously seek ways to improve cost-efficiency and logistics service solutions
Who you are
You have a strong track record in logistics and/or procurement with several years of experience, and you have previously worked with external partners.
You have exceptional networking and cooperation skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Convincing negotiation skills are essential in contractual and operational matters.
You are able to analyze and understand business requirements in order to seek, create and implement new solutions for our Business Areas globally.
Your workstyle is proactive, and you are able to organize your own work independently.
You have excellent communication skills in English
