Senior Front-end Developer, Digital Sales

About the role
As part of the Entice tribe, which focuses on insurance buying journeys for commercial customers, you will join a core developer squad responsible for building and maintaining shared client components. Your role involves encapsulating key functionalities into reusable, well-tested components. You will also own the technical aspects of the component library and collaborate closely with the tribe's UI lead. Additionally, you will mentor frontend developers in client squads, establish best practices for frontend development, and create guidelines for a maintainable frontend architecture.

About the team
The squad, called GOATs, is responsible for the core platform for digital sales. They are responsible for general development guidelines in the tribe as well as providing shared components and libraries. The squad consists of senior developers, a UI/UX designer, and an insurance product expert. The GOATs are a part of our Entice tribe, with about 50 people in total across the Nordics and Baltics.
Who are you?
You are passionate about providing continuous customer value through software development in an agile environment. You have been developing modern SPA applications for a while and have a good grasp of how to build smooth user experiences. You know that good software development practices apply equally to frontend development. You know the difference of complicated and complex code, which matters a lot when building maintainable modern client applications.
As a developer, you see yourself as a craftsman. You don't only want to get things done but have them done well. You take responsibility for your work and don't cut corners: "the only way to go fast, is to go well". Above all, you understand that we create software to solve real problems and to help people.
You also have:

Several years of experience in software development and its methodologies
-
Deep knowledge of modern web development frameworks such as React.

Experience in working with a design framework
-
Attention to details with a test-driven mindset.

Fluent English skills, both spoken and written (Nordic language knowledge is an advantage)
