Project Control Analyst

Job Description Summary

We are looking for Project Control Analyst to join our team in Tampere, Finland. Project Control function is supporting our Operations to manage the schedules & costs of our projects during tendering and project delivery phase and to ensure we deliver on-time and within budget. Project Control Analyst will participate on project cost and schedule analysis and will work closely with Project Manager, Planner and Finance Controller. Project Control Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of operational performance that is both historical and forward looking.

The initial focus on the role will be on cost controlling but will extend to schedule control and planning later on and depending on your background and experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

Contribute on Project monthly cost reporting and scope follow-ups and reviews
During the project delivery phase, you will identify, escalate, and support the project team to mitigate potential schedule and cost overrun risks
Maintain project schedules with the planner and ensure resources are assigned and available to execute project work in accordance with the plan
During tendering, you support on preparing cost estimates and building logical schedules that meets customer objectives by leveraging realized costs, durations and lessons learnt from previous project deliveries.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 2 years of Project Management, Cost Controlling or Project Planning experience
Knowledge of project management processes and procedures
Fluency in English language, Finnish language seen as benefit

Desired Characteristics:

Experience in cost controlling including knowledge of SAP ERP
Some experience in project planning (basic knowledge of either MS Project or Primavera P6)
Above all we expect you to be a self-starter with high level of flexibility, resilience and self-learning attitude. As a person, you are a solid team-player with good prioritizing, communication and interpersonal skills.
