Nordic Oncology Market Access team is growing, and we are therefore looking for a Nordic Market Access Manager to join Astra Zeneca's ! The role can be based at one of our four vibrant sites in Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki or Stockholm.
The role
You will contribute to insight-based Nordic payer strategies for Astra Zeneca´s oncology therapeutic areas to secure patients’ access to our medicines as swiftly as possible. This includes developing Nordic market access strategies (pricing and reimbursement) to ensure launch readiness and patient access.
You work in close collaboration with the Nordic Market Access team and broader cross-functional teams.

Typical accountabilities for the role are:
liaise with global and cross-functional team on early assets and indications (2+ years to launch/approval) to understand access potential, see opportunities to enhance value and device early plans to overcome hurdles to launch in Nordic markets
the Nordic reimbursement and strategic pricing preparation and execution for multi-indication brands/tumour areas to drive Nordic funding processes.
produce and consolidate country-based market access insights on a Nordic level.
drive business cases to analyse price revisions and align on innovative pricing strategies with local and global partners.
coordinate and design tender strategies.
provide analyses and input to financial forecasts and budget processes.
optimize Nordic payer evidence generation.
market access insights to crossfunctional teams
support strategy development of funding and reimbursement submissions
Further on, you will interact with partners, key customers, and work closely with global and country teams to understand and influence strategies for key brands/therapeutic areas.
The role reports to Oncology Market Access Head Nordic. Essential Requirements We are looking for a person with an academic background within health economics, pharmacy, business economics or equivalent. Experience with pricing & market access/reimbursement is an advantage, as is familiarity with oncology.

Proven ability to influence country, regional and global internal stakeholders
Excellent understanding of economics and strong analytical skills
Understanding of the principles behind strategic pricing and tendering processes
Good understanding of the ethical code and compliance requirements of the pharma industry
Project management, planning, and time-management skills
Proficient in both written and spoken English and one of the Nordic languages
