Material Research Engineer

We are now seeking a Material Research Engineer to join our team and contribute to exciting new projects. This position is located in our headquarters in Pirkkala, Finland.

As a Material Research Engineer, you will:

Participate in tire compound development projects tailored to diverse customers and applications
Conduct in-depth research on raw materials used in tire compounds
Develop sustainable raw material solutions for tire compounds
Collaborate with our laboratory team to develop and improve compound testing and analysis methods
Document and report your work and findings fluently and accurately
Create new solutions and innovations to enhance tire quality and production processes
Work closely with international customers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration

Our expectations:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Strong analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
A collaborative attitude and a team-oriented approach
An innovative mindset, with a passion for creating new solutions
A commitment to continuous improvement and quality enhancement
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in English both written and spoken
Willingness to travel for work

Previous experience on tire technology or materials is an advantage as well as working in international environments.
