Infrastructure Architect, Networks
Are you an experienced IT professional with strong expertise in LAN/WLAN services? Do you want to be part of developing and maintaining top-notch network architecture? If you answered yes, you might be the person we are looking for!
We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Architect to join competent Valmet IT Infrastructure team. In this position you will be working with LAN /WLAN solutions and assuring our networks meet the organizations need. In addition, LAN/WLAN some security and governance related task can be included in your job description based on your background and interests.
Main responsibilities:
-
Design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN and WLAN networks
-
Development and optimization of network architecture
-
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in IT and business to ensure seamless integration and operation
-
Troubleshooting technical issues and providing support services
-
Opportunity to participate in the development and management of Security and Firewall services
-
Maintaining and updating documentation
We expect from you:
-
Strong technical background with 3+ years of experience in LAN/WLAN services and their management
-
MSc or BSc in Telecommunication, Information Technology or other relevant field or equivalent skills obtained via work experience
-
Deep understanding of network architecture and technologies
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
-
Fluent English skills both verbally and in writing
-
Great interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented attitude
