Global Product Manager
Are you a technical expert with a sales mindset?
We are looking for a Global Product Manager for our Heavy Duty Wires for Fabrics Filtration Technology Unit in Services Business Line. Fabrics Filtration Technology Unit supplies filter fabrics and filtration expertise to our customers in Pulp&Paper industry.
As a Global Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our Filtration products to our global customers. You will work in close and active co-operation with our customers and partners and are actively involved in product development. In addition, you will actively manage product portfolio to ensure the profitability and develop our sales processes. This position can be based in any major Valmet location in Finland.
What will do you at Valmet?
- owner for your own product group
- supporting the sales of Filtration products
- product line global budget and sales responsibility
- develop our business together with our global sales teams
- travel and visit own customers actively and support visits to different sales teams when needed
- close and active co-operation with our business partners
- support and oversee global sales teams as global manager role
- ensure and maintain the good product portfolio for product line
- close co-operation with our R&D
- maintain global sales forecasts together with global production planning
Who is the professional we are looking for?
You are result and sales oriented, customer focused team player who can turn customers’ needs and opportunities into sales. You know how to build and cherish long term customer relations and you are good at networking both with internal and external partners.
You hold a technical (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) degree in Pulp&Paper or textile industry and have 3–5 years’ experience in related tasks and working in the customer interface. Filtration products are familiar for you, and you are able to work and make decisions independently. You have solid communication and presentation skills both written and verbal in English and in Finnish. In addition, you are willing to travel regularly (50–100 days/year).
