What is the role?
In this role you will be leading and securing successful deliveries and support for our Missions customers globally including international assembly, integration, testing, configuration, training, and documentation activities, as well as operations & maintenance and customer support throughout the customer mission lifecycle.
You will work closely with customer teams, and our engineering, program management and product teams in securing successful go-live of customer missions, and supporting them in operating and maintaining their assets.
You will lead the international sites making assembly, integration and testing of satellite systems, including space and ground equipment, ensuring processes follow the standards set by our Engineering AIT, all components are correctly configured, and meet design specifications.
You will develop and optimize our training tools, processes, and documentation, identify potential issues, and implement solutions. You will oversee delivery of training programs for customers on the operation of satellite systems, and help create customer documentation, and training materials to support knowledge transfer.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day customer support, including monitoring system performance, troubleshooting, and coordinating with engineering for issue resolution, and developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
You will lead technical customer support to clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing expert guidance on system usage and best practices, ensuring timely and effective resolution of client issues.
Requirements
Proven - at least 5 years - experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex programs delivering training, documentation, and/or operations & maintenance activities, and supporting locally delivered physical equipment with embedded software
Proven - at least 5 years - experience in leading teams in the context of a large B2B solution delivery and support
Strong drive, energy and passion in achieving concrete results for customers
Systematic, very well-organized, analytical, pragmatic. Ability to problem-solve, make decisions under pressure, and drive to reach targets
Excellent team leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
Ability to travel to ICEYE and customer sites as needed
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field e,g. Engineering or Operations Management, M.Sc. preferred
Excellent English proficiency
In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills:
Experience with satellite missions, satellite ground systems, or related programs
Knowledge of enterprise server and storage architectures and solutions
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and continuous improvement practices

Base salary range for this position is 8 000-9 500€ per month (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
