Business Controller

We are looking for a Group Business Controller
In this role, you will be developing and leading business controlling in close collaboration with the business units and your own finance colleagues. This role plays a critical role in leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing strategic financial insights, and driving value creation across the organization. You’ll be working as a part of our finance team and reporting to our Financial Director.
The successful candidate will be a proactive business partner who has the courage and ability to influence stakeholders and drive data-driven decisions to optimize performance and efficiency. In this role, you will have at least the following responsibilities:

Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
Deliver high-quality management reports at the right time and right the first time
Provide financial expertise and proactive analytical insights to help the business make the right data-driven decisions
Support the creation and follow-up of business cases to support technology investment opportunities
Participate and support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requirements for specific business initiatives that may arise from time to time
Collaborating with key stakeholders at many levels.

We hope you have at least the following qualities:

Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Ability to act as a business partner and collaborate effectively with various teams.

Our financial management systems include Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle Net Suite and Microsoft Power BI. We will give you a good onboarding to your role and all the systems. However, previous experience with the systems is an advantage.

Location
The preferred location is at the Magi CAD Group’s offices in Turku, Rauma, or Espoo and remote work is possible for our people as well. The role might require traveling between our offices.
