Spare Parts Business Development Manager
who is responsible for the business management of a product and its commercial success. In this role you will work with other product development, sourcing, service operations, sales and marketing teams worldwide, reporting to the portfolio director. The role is based in Iisalmi or Espoo, Finland. Normet’s remote office in Kuopio is in your use as well.
Main responsibilities and tasks
- Define the Spare Parts business development strategies
- Make Spare Parts business analysis and propose projects for business improvement
- Presenting the business case for investment, development needs, resource needs, support structures and procedures for the business's success
- Lead the business development projects
- Work with the commercial team to define the product pricing strategy
- Manage branding concepts for own and sub-supplied components
- Providing support to the internal sales and service teams
- Creating sales promotions and campaigns with the marketing team
Market Intelligence and customer satisfaction
- Collecting customer feedback and defining action plans for improvement
- Following the market and competitor development
- Executing market and competitor analysis
All the activities aim to improve customer satisfaction, increase the share of customer wallets and ensure product profitability.
To shine in this position, we hope you have:
- 10+ years of working experience with a proven track record of successful B2B business management
- Technical or commercial background in the machinery industry or other service-driven industry
- Strong networking and collaboration capabilities
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Goal-orientated and good at handling stressful and complex situations
- Understanding of finance and basics of profit & loss statements and commercials at industrial business
- Able for global travelling
- Experience working for a multinational company and matrix organization; international experience is advantageous.
- Master’s degree in business / industrial management, engineering, economics or similar
- Fluent in English both written and spoken (other languages, e.g. Spanish, as plus)
