Job Summary:
A Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation, electrical systems, and maintenance practices to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industrial Automation Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of industrial automation systems, drives, and motors. Possess a proven track record of effectively handling automation maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Maintenance Planning and Execution: A solid background in maintenance planning and execution. Be able to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Proactively identify and troubleshoot electrical problems. Initiate and implement maintenance practices such as Preventive and Predictive Maintenance to prevent equipment failures and extend asset life.
- Electrical Systems Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems, MV transformers, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
- Root Cause Analysis: Be proficient in conducting Root Cause Analysis to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Loss Reduction: Actively work to reduce losses across processing operations by optimizing electrical system performance and minimizing energy consumption.
- KPI Achievement: Ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to production line performance and equipment reliability.
- Spare Parts Management: Effectively manage spare parts stock, ensuring adequate inventory levels and timely procurement to support maintenance activities.
- HSE Compliance: Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and practices. Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Technical Development: Develop the technical skills and capabilities of technicians through training and leadership.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3-6 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
- Preference is given to candidates residing in October City.
