Role Purpose
The Drupal Technical Lead is responsible for leading the technical development and implementation of Drupal-based projects. This role requires extensive experience in Drupal development, system architecture, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will guide a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code and timely project delivery while also providing hands-on expertise in developing complex Drupal solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:
  

• Lead the technical planning, development, and implementation of Drupal projects.
  

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
  

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
  

Responsibility:-

2.Architecture & Design:
Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure Drupal architectures.
Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and security are followed.
Review and approve architecture and design specifications before implementation.
3.Development & Implementation:
Write high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code in Drupal.
Oversee the development process, including coding, testing, and deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Drupal implementations.
4.Team Management:
Manage and mentor a team of Drupal developers, providing guidance on technical issues and career development.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
5.Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA engineers, and Dev Ops.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
6.Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in Drupal and web development.
Propose and implement improvements to the development process, tools, and practices.
Lead initiatives to improve the performance, scalability, and security of Drupal sites.

7.Integration & Customization:
Develop and integrate custom modules, themes, and plugins as per project requirements.
Integrate third-party services and APIs into Drupal-based applications.
Optimize Drupal sites for performance and SEO.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
Extensive experience with Drupal 8/9/10 development, including custom module and theme development.
Proficiency in PHP, My SQL, HTML, CSS, Java Script, and other web technologies.
Strong understanding of Drupal architecture, hooks, and APIs.
Experience with Drush, Composer, Git, and other development tools.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus.
Leadership & Management:
Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving & Communication:
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Drupal development.
At least 2-3 years of experience in a technical lead or similar role.
Experience with Drupal migration projects is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Drupal certifications are a plus.
