Job Description The Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing full lifecycle accounting support. This person will record daily and monthly transactional activity while adhering to GAAP and Company accounting policies that includes record preparation, analysis, research, and reporting related to, but not limited to, general ledger activities, month-end closing activities, reconciliation of accounts as directed, financial statement and related reports, schedules, and audits. Assignment of special projects by Director of Finance and Partners. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all necessary accounts, including monthly journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and intangibles, to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger reliability.
Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits and assisting other members of the team.
Financial statement preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including international consolidations.
Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and forecast analysis.
Responsible for all accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
Assist in annual federal and state income tax preparation for our CPA firm along with quarterly estimated tax payments.
Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly and quarterly state sales taxes.
Qualifications · 5+ years experience working in a similar role · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance · Public accounting and International (Canada) experience a plus · Excellent computer skills, including Quick Books and Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills, including V-lookups and pivot tables · Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal · Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage a people · Excellent organizational and analytical skills with ability to multi-task · Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to prioritize tasks About 21Tech:
