Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Scrum Master with a strong background in managing agile projects and a keen ability to document requirements meticulously. This role involves facilitating the Scrum process, ensuring effective collaboration and communication, and creating comprehensive documentation to support our development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrum Master Duties:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the Scrum process is followed and team members are empowered.
- Remove impediments and shield the team from external interferences.
- Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs and plan sprints.
- Requirements Documentation:
- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements.
- Create user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Maintain and update requirement documents throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are met and understood.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in using Scrum and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cybersecurity or GRC projects.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with UML or other modeling languages.
- Experience in using wireframing tools like Figma or Balsamiq.
