ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Sales Development Strategist, your primary focus will be on generating and qualifying new sales leads to enhance the productivity of our sales team. You will take the lead in finding client lists from various sources, including online research, personal networks, and databases. Once potential leads are identified, you will be responsible for qualifying them and updating the CRM system to ensure that the sales team can hit the ground running with well-vetted prospects. You will:
Research and identify potential clients across different industries using online tools, networks, and data sources as well as in field visits.
Generate and maintain lists of new leads, ensuring that they meet the criteria for qualification.
Qualify leads based on pre-defined criteria to ensure that only viable prospects are handed over to the sales team.
Update the CRM system with detailed and accurate information about leads, including contact details, industry, and qualification status.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads for further engagement.
Track lead qualification progress and generate reports on lead generation efforts to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Utilize various tools (CRM systems, data mining tools, etc.) to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of lead generation.
Stay updated on market trends and competitors, providing insights to the sales team to help refine strategies.
YOU HAVE:
Strong research and analytical skills and the ability to find and evaluate potential leads through various sources.
Experience working with CRM systems.
Attention to detail and the ability to ensure accurate data entry and lead qualification.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive mindset, able to work independently to find new opportunities.
Experience in lead generation or sales support roles is a plus.
YOU MUST:
Have 2-4 years of experience in lead generation or sales support roles.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Be comfortable with data entry, research, and client outreach.
Have strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
Be results-oriented, with a focus on helping the sales team meet and exceed their targets.
