We are looking for a PR and Communications Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team. This role is crucial in shaping and promoting our brand narrative across multiple platforms, enhancing our corporate image, and building strong relationships with media and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations and communications, with a proven ability to manage campaigns and craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, editors, and influencers. Pitch stories, manage press inquiries, and coordinate media interviews to secure coverage for the firm’s achievements, projects, and thought leadership.
Write, edit, and proofread press releases, articles, blog posts, and other communication materials. Ensure content aligns with the firm's messaging, brand voice, and strategic objectives.
Plan and execute PR campaigns and initiatives to promote the firm’s services, events, and corporate milestones. Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Writing social captions for press links.
Support the development and execution of the firm’s brand strategy. Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels and materials.
Organize and manage media events, press conferences, and other public relations activities. Handle logistics, coordinate with vendors, and ensure successful execution of events.
Assist in the development and implementation of crisis communication strategies. Provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders during challenging situations.
Collaborate with the social media team to create and manage content that supports PR initiatives. Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and engage with the online community as needed.
Track and report on PR and communications metrics, including media coverage, social media engagement, and campaign performance. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Assist with translating marketing materials between Arabic and English.
Other tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in PR and communications, preferably within the real estate or professional services sector.
Demonstrated success in media relations, content creation, and campaign management
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to various audiences.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and PR management tools. Knowledge of media monitoring software and analytics tools is a plus.
Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
The ability to understand and make use of computers and information technology (Knight Frank internal systems).
Certifications and Licenses: Local driving license required.
Language skills: Fluency in English and Arabic, written and verbal. Fluency in other languages is advantageous.
