Essential responsibilities and daily duties include:

Provide consulting oversight and on-the-job training to the workforce of Egyptian Nationals on how to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace hydraulic systems effectively while conducting preventive maintenance to minimize future issues.

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of marine electronic systems using approved technical work packages and technical publications. Tasking will include supporting removal and repairs to circuit cards, cables, PLC and junction boxes (replacement and rebuild), and other engineering systems and subsystems typically found aboard US Navy/former US Navy vessels and boats.

Perform intermediate and depot-level repairs on all types of main electronic systems, subsystems, equipment, auxiliary electronics, and RF systems typically found aboard the US Navy/former US Navy vessels and boats in support of Egyptian Navy shipboard lifecycle maintenance requirements.

Provide detailed and technically accurate written condition, open, and inspection reports. Use technical publications to identify and order required repair parts.

Document findings, repairs, and recommendations for internal records and reference during the execution of ship availabilities for various ship platforms as required and directed by In-Country Amentum Manager.

Participate as a member of the Amentum Ship Repair Team (SRT) in close coordination with the Industrial Manager.

Provide timely and comprehensive inputs for the Monthly Status Report.
