Savoy Sharm Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive House Keeper. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at our luxury resort in Sharm El-Sheikh. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar position and possess excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and performance management of housekeeping staff.
- Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor and control housekeeping expenses, including inventory and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient turnover of guest rooms.
- Conduct regular inspections and follow-up to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Handle guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously seek ways to improve housekeeping operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for the housekeeping team by enforcing health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a housekeeping leadership role in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housekeeping software.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
