Job Description
We are looking for an engaged and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our growing team! Do you have experience in logistics, shipping, and coordination? Do you succeed in a role where you are responsible for ensuring deliveries? If so, you might be the person we're looking for!
As a Shipping Coordinator, you will play a central role in our supply chain, responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring shipments of goods to our customers. You will work with both internal departments and external partners such as freight companies and suppliers.
You will report directly to the Manager located in Denmark, Bronderslev.
You will work with the team on-site.
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate national and international shipments.
- Communicate with freight companies and handle transport documents (e.g., waybills and customs papers).
- Monitor the shipping process to ensure timely delivery.
- Address any issues during transport, such as delays or damages to goods.
- Optimize shipping processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the warehouse, customer care and procurement departments to ensure all goods are ready for shipment.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of national and international shipping procedures and regulations.
- IT skills (experience with ERP systems is an advantage).
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken).
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience with customs documentation and international freight.
- Knowledge of an additional foreign language.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
