Experienced IT Procurement Manager
Do you want to use your procurement skills and make an impact on Danske Bank by using your skills to negotiate with a wide variety of IT suppliers? Then join Danske Bank as an Experienced IT Procurement Manager in the Software & IT Services Procurement team in Denmark.
As Senior IT Procurement Manager in Danske Bank, you will join a team of experienced IT procurement people with responsibility for procurement of Software & IT Services, from demand to contract sign off. You will be working with complex sourcing projects where quality, cost optimization and compliance plays a major role.
We are 20 IT Procurement professionals in Danske Bank Strategic Sourcing and part of a larger Procurement and Premisses organisation. We have teams in Denmark and Lithuania and we are responsible for delivering end-to-end IT procurement services to the whole Danske Bank group. The role we are looking to fill now is in the Danish team. You will be working out of our office in Holbergsgade in Copenhagen and will need to be able to commute 3-4 days a week.
Communication and negotiation at a high level
Your job will be to both assist and challenge internal and external stakeholders and to maintain a focus on high quality of service & execution. This is where you will bring your communication and negotiation skills into play, together with your understanding of commercial, legal and compliance requirements.
You will handle wide mix of engagements both individually and as a team, ensuring the best value for money for the Bank, the right time-to-market, cost transparency and implementation of recognized best practices.
In order to excel in this role, you should be great in stakeholder management as you will be working with many different functions in a large corporate environment (Legal, IT Asset Management, Vendor Management and a large complex group of Business stakeholders). You have a good grip of analytics and can communicate clearly at all levels of the organization.

- Minimum of 5 years of IT sourcing experience, including running RFx processes for strategic IT projects and commercial and contractual negotiations
- A skilled negotiator with a toolbox that allows a structured approach to negotiations ultimately securing optimal results for Danske Bank
- Deep knowledge with different types of vendor deliveries (Cloud, Saa S, Paa S etc.) and software delivery in general
- Good understanding of GDPR, DORA and other compliance and regulatory requirements
- Great communication skills, verbal and written (English)
