We are looking for an R&D Engineer for Standardization to develop, manage, and implement company standards across key areas like R&D, Quality, and Sustainability. In this role, you'll work closely with internal teams and external standardization bodies to ensure our products align with both company and international standards. You will be instrumental in shaping the policies and standards that drive the ZF product portfolio, spanning a diverse range of electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines. Your efforts will directly impact consistency, quality, and innovation across our products.


What can you look forward to as the R&D Engineer for Standardization?

• Lead the creation, modification, and management of ZF Company Standards across strategic areas such as R&D, Quality, and Sustainability
• Drive standardization initiatives in cooperation with engineering, quality, and other expert departments to resolve standardization issues
• Manage the integration of external public standards into company practices, ensuring compliance and consistency
• Oversee the standardization processes, including the introduction, withdrawal, and monitoring of standards
• Provide guidance and support to teams on standardization matters, including training and problem-solving

Your profile as R&D Engineer for Standardization:

• Technical background with experience in system engineering, mechanics, or electronics, preferably within R&D
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inform, engage, and collaborate with colleagues across departments
• Capable of structuring and utilizing the results of technical discussions
• Proficient in moderating workshops and meetings, with strong organizational and facilitation skills
• Enjoys interacting with colleagues and sharing information, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
