IT Software Engineer - SAP Commerce Cloud

Are you looking for a new challenge? For our Plzen office we are looking for a IT Software Engineer - SAP Commerce Cloud.

Job responsibilities:

Planning, Conceptualization, and Implementation: Develop innovative solutions within the SAP Commerce Cloud environment to optimize business processes and customer experience in Marketing & Sales.
Development and Maintenance: Collaborate with external service providers to develop, implement, and maintain solutions based on SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly Hybris).
Customer Consultation: Advise customers on business processes and new requirements, including cost and feasibility assessments for potential implementations within the SAP Commerce Cloud environment.
Requirement Analysis and Technical Specifications: Analyze requirements and create technical solution specifications, including architecture design.
Troubleshooting and Optimization: Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of the existing SAP Commerce Cloud platform, including product responsibility and lifecycle management.
Technical Configuration and Introduction: Support the technical configuration and introduction of new functionalities and services.
Interface Development: Contribute to the development of interfaces to other applications within the Wacker IT landscape or the integration of third-party systems into the existing e-commerce infrastructure.
Application Testing: Support and partially conduct application tests, often in collaboration with other IT departments and relevant business units.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent knowledge acquired through other education/training and practical experience.
Proven extensive experience in development, design, and customer consulting for e-commerce solutions based on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
Basic knowledge of common frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Java Script.
Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, XML, and interface design.
Excellent understanding of IT architecture and project experience in the e-commerce sector.
Customer-oriented, team-oriented working style, and good communication skills with internal and external partners in an agile development environment.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
