Job Summary
As a Senior SRE (11843), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- System Reliability and Performance: Ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of systems by designing and implementing monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies.
- Automation and Tooling: Developing automation tools and processes to streamline operations, reduce manual intervention, and enhance system efficiency, often through Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaboration and Culture: Promoting a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams, facilitating communication, and helping to implement best practices in Dev Ops and reliability engineering.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
- Professional/ Advanced English skills.
- +5 years of experience.
- Production Incident Management
- On Call Support as part of a rotation
- Hand on Azure experience, at least with
- App Insights
- Azure Storage Accounts
- General Networking
- Vault
- Service Bus
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones
- Experience with Docker (Linux)
