Summary of Position
As Supervisor, Prosthetic Design & Planning Service in our Costa Rica service center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customized prosthetic designs and treatment plans for guided surgery cases are delivered in accordance with customer requirements, both in time and quality standards.
This position requires a combination of technical expertise and close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the services (prosthetic designs and treatment plans for guided surgery).
Additionally, you will be responsible for improving services level and efficiency gains in collaboration with the Operation team.
This position will play a key role in delivering the next generation of Straumann digital services, supporting the long-term strategic aspirations of the fast-growing Connected Customer Solution (CCS) business unit. This role reports directly to the Smile in a Box (Sia B) Service Manager and is a highly collaborative role that works closely with the service centers in different countries, R&D teams, other Straumann business units, and the CCS operations team.
Essential Functions and Duties
Build and lead a team of Smile in a Box solution specialists and prosthetic designers based in Costa Rica in their respective tasks.
Supervise prosthetic design and virtual treatment plans based on cases prescriptions provided, in the respect of dentistry’s best practices and of the company’s design specifications.
Monitor incoming submissions and customer inquiries.
Oversee the internal workflow and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Monitor and support the team to meet their individual and collective KPIs.
Continually work to increase knowledge of dentistry, industry trends, and company processes.
Collaborate with the product development and design teams to translate client specifications into technically feasible solutions.
Protect patient confidentiality by using and handling patient personal information strictly in relation to the company’s procedure and with personnel habilitated to do so.
Qualifications
A dental technician or dental professional with at least 5 years of experience in dental design or implant planning.
A team player with great interpersonal and leadership skills
Objectives driven and are comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment and cross functional teams.
Customer centric and enjoy continuous interaction with customer.
Display enthusiasm about providing excellent support and service.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good knowledge of CAD/CAM technologies and digital workflows.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish. Other languages are an asset.
Other duties may be assigned, so flexibility in this sense is required.
